A two-year old Shiba Inu named Foxy
Roselyn, is a city girl; a NEW YORK CITY girl at that. She was born, raised and has lived there all her life and cannot see herself living anywhere else...PERIOD! Creativity was always a part of her life. Her father is a musician, and her mother is a self-proclaimed fashionista. Since she had the ability to process a thought, Roselyn always utilized her imagination to help her express herself through different forms. Whether it was writing, art or poetry, Roselyn's creativity never developed a barrier.
Being raised in a home with mainly women, Roselyn's obsessions with makeup, fashion and anything that included pink grew rapidly. Whether it was studying her own mother during her makeup applications, or trying on her big sister's lipglosses behind her back; Roselyn fell head over Jimmy Choo's for cosmetics, clothes and anything feminine and girly. Not only were they fun, but their combinations became endless.
Makeup Makes Me Happy™ was started by Roselyn in April 2008. This became her outlet of expression and I guess you can say "worship" for makeup. Since then, Roselyn has devoted herself to Makeup Makes Me Happy™ and with the help and guidance of talented people around her, she decided to expand Makeup Makes Me Happy™ from a simple page on Blogger into a full fledged website. Since then Roselyn and Makeup Makes Me Happy™ have quickly caught the attention of the beauty industry and have begun to take it by storm. Within only two months of it's existence, Makeup Makes Me Happy™ was recruited into the elite and widely-recognized Beauty Blog Network (where usually there is a three-month minimum requirement), making it the first blog to be recruited into the network in record-breaking time.
In addition, Roselyn has started her own parent company for Makeup Makes Me Happy™, Foxy Media™ (named after her fabulous pooch of course), and will continue to launch additional sites under the brand in late 2008. But the fun doesn't end there. Since stepping onto the scene, Roselyn's devotion to makeup has also led her to offers from several companies willing to work with her on her own makeup line. Roselyn plans to work on her makeup line throughout 2008 and hopes to launch it in 2009.
Besides her online occupations, Roselyn is a student at Fordham University, models part time and works as an analyst at a financial firm in NYC. When she is not online and isn't thinking or doing anything that has to do with makeup, she is either playing with the pooch, yapping on the phone, or placing ridiculously long and extremely customized orders at her local Starbucks.
